Murano and Mogliano–the Last of Italy (for now)

We had to leave eventually, but before we left, we had one more stop: Murano–one of the hundreds of islands that makes up Venice, an island known for its glass art.  Some of it was beautiful, some of it amusing, some of it simply breathtaking…

For our last couple of nights, we stayed in a 14th-century villa turned into a 21st-century hotel called The Foscarini.  It was incredible, and I highly recommend it.  It was only 108 Euros per night!

They had a relaxation room…

And fresh-squeezed blood orange juice every morning…

Plus their app had excellent recommendations for restaurants nearby.  This was my final dinner in Italy…
